1. What is RealTimes?

RealTimes brings your memories to life by automatically and instantly creating video montages called RealTimes Stories from your entire digital photo and video collection. You can customize these RealTimes Stories with your own music and titles, and share them with friends and family either privately or through social media. RealTimes also lets you store all of your media in a safe, secure, organized cloud. And, it’s powered by RealPlayer so you can enjoy your photos and videos on your smartphone, tablet, PC or TV.

2. How does it work?

The app automatically formats videos and photos for any device type, screen size, available bandwidth and storage space. RealTimes selects the best moments and creates entertaining digital RealTimes Stories with photos, videos and music, organized in a timeline so you can watch and share them anytime.

3. What is the difference between RealPlayer Cloud and RealTimes?

RealTimes is the newest version of the RealPlayer product. We didn't remove any of your favorite features of RealPlayer or RealPlayer Cloud; we’ve simply added new ones. RealPlayer Cloud users will automatically be upgraded to RealTimes within their existing RealPlayer Cloud app.

4. Do the people I am sharing my photos or videos with need to download the app too?

Your friends and family don’t need to buy or sign up for anything to play your RealTimes Stories or view your photos, videos, or albums. They can simply click the link you provide via email, text, or on social media to view what you choose to share.

5. I’m worried that ‘the cloud’ isn’t safe. Are my videos secure?

Yes – RealNetworks, the company behind RealPlayer, has been in business for over 20 years and we pride ourselves on protecting the security and privacy of our users. We take this extremely seriously and have security and encryption systems in place to ensure that not only are your videos backed up in several locations, but, unless you proactively choose to share them, are completely inaccessible to anyone but you. Remember to always log out if you use RealTimes on a shared computer.

6. Who can see my videos?

No one will see your videos in RealTimes unless you proactively share them in social media, by email, or by sending a direct link. There is no automatic sharing of any videos that you download, view, or save to RealTimes.

7. What if I run out of space or want more?

You can always upgrade to one of our paid plans, which give you premium RealTimes Stories, more storage, higher definition video playback and much more. Take a look at which one works best for you.

8. I’m a free user – can I make premium RealTimes Stories?

Free users will be able to create RealTimes Stories up to 30 seconds in length. Our paid plans provide lots more features like increasing the Story length, additional music tracks, filters, transitions, and removal of the RealTimes watermark.

Free users can make a one-time in-app purchase of £.99 to upgrade any RealTimes Story to the premium version.

9. How much does it cost?

10. How do I cancel the subscription?

If you sign up for a paid RealTimes plan on your PC, access your RealTimes account at https://cloud.real.com/myaccount, click Plans, and then click the gray Cancel Service button beneath your plan information. (If you don't see this button, then you don't have a paid subscription so there is nothing to cancel.)

If you sign up for a paid RealTimes plan on your mobile device, the order will be processed through the app store and you can cancel directly from your device.

12. Which languages is RealTimes available in?

The app is currently available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, traditional Chinese, and Portuguese.
