Ex-member of Punkers the Nuns and the early Alt-Country band Rank and File, Austinite Alejandro Escovedo's music mixes his own Latin, country, and Post-Punk influences to create a patchwork quilt of his own version of Americana. Escovedo was named "Artist of the Decade" by No Depression magazine.
