Anastacia
Anastacia Newkirk was born in New York, USA on September 17, 1973 to parents working in the show business. As a young woman, she danced in a couple of MTV videos and was, legend has it, approached by a manager who wanted to, well, know if she could sing. Anastacia entered an MTV casting show in 1999 and got noticed by the industry. Her debut album "Not That Kind" hit the shelves in the year 2000. A blend of pop, R&B and rock and her soulful voice made the single "I'm Outta Love" a hit. 2002 saw the release of her offering "Freak of Nature".
