Southern Californian emo-rock group April Sixth got their name from the date of their first show. The group formed around singer songwriter Christopher Wade after the others heard him perform his song "Dear Angel". Produced by Howard Benson who has also worked on albums by Hoobastank and My Chemical Romance, April Sixth's debut full-length "In Memory" mixes powerful rock with soaring melodic choruses. As a songwriter Wade expresses typically Californian laid-back introspection on the tracks like “Livin’ a Lie,” “Roses,” and “Bring Me Down”.
