Black Star Liner
Black Star Liner are a trance and electro music group from Britain. The band, which is made up of DJ's and producers, mix traditional Middle Eastern and Indian music together with various forms of electronic music. The group formed in 1994 and issued their debut EP "Smoke the Prophets" that same year. The single "Smoke the Prophets" also won single of the week from NME magazine. They went on to release the "Rock Freak" EP in 1997, and a debut LP entitled "Yemen Cutta Connection" in 1998. In 2000 Black Star re-released several EP's and singles on one LP called "Twelve Inch Confrontation Mix".
