Chris Brown
The R’n’B vocalist Christopher “Chris” Maurice Brown was born on May 5, 1989 in Tappahannock, Virginia, USA. An avid fan of Michael Jackson, usher and Stevie Wonder, Brown released his self-titled debut album – mostly consisting of material written by the producer Scott Storch - in the year 2005. It spawned the singles “Run It!” (featuring rapper Julez Santana) and “Yo (Excuse Me Miss)”. The album went platinum in 2006, and Brown’s singles were remixed by a number of noted hip-hop producers, among them Track Masters, Kbeatz (of BLMG fame) and DJ Clue.
