Los Rodriguez
The Latin pop/rock outfit Los Rodríguez was formed by Andrés Calamaro around 1990. Their debut offering, titled “Buena Suerte”, hit the shelves in the year 1991 and was followed by the full-length release “Disco Pirata” in 1992. However, it was the 1998 album “Sin Documentos” that was to make them a household item for Spanish Latin-pop fans – although many secretly state that they believe the 1996 offering “Hasta Luego” to be the better record. Be that as it may, their 1993 album “Palabras Mas Palabras Menos” was re-mastered and re-released in 2003, giving new fuel to the Rodríguezmania.
