Santo and Johnny
Brothers Santo and Johnny Farina formed the guitar duo Santo & Johnny in Brooklyn, USA back in the year 1959. Their debut single, the atmospheric instrumental "Sleepwalk", became a big hit and is still the song they are best remembered for. Although they released a number of records, among them "Encore" (1960) and "Offshore" (1963), Santo & Johnny were unable to regain their initial momentum in the USA and soon were more famous abroad than in their home country. The duo was especially popular in Italy, but in 1976 they disbanded.
