If you've ever had to spend a long, prolonged amount of time in a Guitar Center retail outlet, you have most likely heard names dropped like Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani and maybe Alvin Lee, who was the legendary guitarrorist of the longhaired and denim clad Ten Years After. The heavy blues rock band formed in the late '60s but didn't attract much attention until their performance at Woodstock. After the smell of success lead them to the poor decision of going mainstream, the band flounderd creatively and financially and they broke up in 1974, only to reunite a couple times in the late '80s.
