Tokio Hotel

Tokio Hotel were formed in 2001 in Magdeburg, Germany. The twins Bill Kaulitz (vocals) and Tom Kaulitz (guitars) teamed up with Georg Listing (bass) and Gustav Schäfer (drums) and founded a group called Devilish. They change the name into Tokio Hotel a couple of months later. The band won the German Star Search kids edition and signed to Sony. The label cancelled the contract before the first release because they did not believe in the band any more. Tokio Hotel signed a new contract at Univeral and their singles "Durch den Monsun" and "Schrei" and the album "Schrei" became massive hits.
