We already knew Springsteen, Blur and Neil Young were on the bill, but the full Glastonbury line-up has finally been unveiled after Q thumped the Guardian on the arm and ran off with their exclusive while they weren’t looking. Other headliners revealed include Ray Davies, Jarvis Cocker, Franz Ferdinand and The Prodigy, backed up by the likes of Pendulum, Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Madness and The Specials. Compounding the ‘dad rock’ theme, Status Quo are also on the bill, along with festival favourite Tom Jones, Tony Christie and Crosby, Stills & Nash. Don’t despair though - most of these acts are on the main stages, so if you fancy something a touch more modern, there’s plenty to choose from, with the likes of Lady GaGa, Doves, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Animal Collective, The Ting Tings and literally hundreds more…
RealMusic Blog is particularly looking forward to seeing The Puppini Sisters, Little Boots, Regina Spektor and La Roux. We’ll be hovering around the main stages too for The Boss and Blur and providing we don’t slip over in the mud and/or drink too much cider from the naughty bus, Just Jack and Calvin Harris look worth a punt, as does Seun Kuti and the totally awesome Alberta Cross on Sunday’s Park Stage.
But don’t take our word for it - if you’ve got a ticket and want to check out the full line-ups, click here.
Glastonbury takes place June 24th-28th.
