‘The Season’ starts 31st October 2009 on BBC Switch on BBC Two
BBC Switch has a brand new reality show for the teenagers out there… and those of us who are forever young! Set in the exclusive Val d’Isere ski resort, it follows a bunch of 18-21 year olds live their lives, loves, trials and tribulations as they work and play in the party capital of the Alps.
The series spans ten consecutive weeks in a ski season, focusing on twelve main characters including self-confessed gossip queen Abi, wannabe pro-boarder Sam and his girlfriend Holly and Tommy and Emily, who came to Val as a couple but who have recently split up. (Drama - we love it!)
The Season gets under the skin of these kids and captures the emotional highs and lows over the season, whether it’s finding happiness in a relationship, making lifelong friendships, excelling as a ski instructor or competitor and developing greater independence away from home…
